Riga Film Studio
Riga Film Studio is the oldest and most experienced film studio in Latvia and one of the oldest film studios in Northern Europe. In its current premises – Šmerļa Street 3 – it has been operating since 1961. Similar to the Soviet years, when Riga Film Studio was the main technical base for film production, today it also has technical equipment and appropriate premises for the implementation of various films, programs, advertisements and other audiovisual projects. Riga Film Studio has preserved filming pavilions and an extensive collection of costumes and props.
Riga Film Studio is open for cooperation in the implementation of various projects. We are happy to support future professionals in the field and promote the implementation of interdisciplinary art projects both inside and outside the film studio.
